Beginner and Beyond
- This class is perfect for new students or continuing students to refine your practice. This class is a gentle introduction to the practice of yoga. Beginner and Beyond is a review of the foundational techniques, alignment, and pranayama. In addition, we will introduce a modified practice of Surya Namaskar and gentle inversions. The class will consist of warm-up and preparatory movement, breath work, asana (posture) practice, and deep relaxation.

Gentle Flow
- This class is a gentler, slower paced version of our Mixed Level class. This class is for all levels of practice ranging from new to continuing students. The practice will consist of breath-work, warm-up, and foundational postures in a vinyasa flow (integrating the breath with movement). Modifications and variations will be given during the practice. The class concludes with a deep relaxation to bring harmony and balance to the body, mind & spirit.

Mixed Level
- This class is for all levels of practice ranging from new to continuing students. The class format is moderately paced and will provide breath-work, warm-up, and foundational postures in a vinyasa flow (integrating the breath with movement). Modifications and variations will be given during the practice. The class concludes with a deep relaxation to bring harmony and balance to the body, mind & spirit.

Dynamic Flow with Meditation
- A more vigorous class for experienced students. This class will consist of vinyasa flow incorporating challenging postures such as arm balances and inversions. A strong home practice is recommended and at least six months of practice as a student at the studio. This class includes an optional 15 minute meditation from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM.

Taoist Yoga
- Taoist yoga is an earth-honoring tradition from ancient China that follows the way of simplicity. In this all-levels class we will learn to let go of concepts to free ourselves from the constraints of the thinking mind, grow the body supple, flow with movement, and be in harmony with our own Tao, or way of being. We’ll explore specific yoga postures that invoke the spiritual essence of various creatures and activate the yin and yang properties of the five alchemical elements used in Chinese medicine (wood, fire, earth, metal, and water), thus enlivening the body and consciousness with these energetic qualities.

Restorative Yoga
- This class is for students of all levels. This class consists of Restorative postures (reclining, supported postures held 10 to 15 minutes) to move the student toward deeper states of relaxation and peace. The class will focus on cultivating inner awareness while learning to identify and release blocked energy or tension within the body. The class may include pranayama, guided meditation, chakra visualization, and sound.

Gentle&Restorative-Lotus Heart Rising,Sewickley,PA
- Eight Week Sessions . Intro to Meditation at Gilda's Club - Monthly Clas
- Meditation has been practiced as a means of reducing pain and stress, improving moods and relationships, and facilitating spiritual development. This series of monthly classes will offer basic instruction in a variety of meditation practices, including breathing practices, sitting meditation, walking meditation, visualization, mindful eating, and mindful communication. No experience necessary, come as you are.

Yoga of Movement, Stillness & Pause
- Through the vehicle of the breath, a balance of dynamic and restorative asana nourishing the body, mind and spirit. Alchemy of the Core
- This class explores developmental patterns that provide comfort and stability to the asana practice. Topics covered will include deep core awareness, practices to awaken the core, Agni Sara, chakra meditations, mudras, bija sounds and Pranayama.

Coreasana
- This class will focus on practices that stimulate core awareness to gain comfort and stability to the asana practice. A blend of core techniques and the integration of these principals into a warm, energetic asana practice will leave you feeling vibrant, radiant, and refreshed.

Yoga for Children
- Creative stories, animal imagery and music bring yoga to young children in a fun-filled and engaging way. In a non-competitive environment, we encourage cooperation through games and poses that kids create together.

Yoga for Teens
- Designed for students with or without previous yoga experience, this course geared for teens can be a wonderful and fun way of cultivating self-discipline, promoting self-esteem and maintaining the physical, mental and spiritual well-being. As their practice continues, students become aware of the intelligence of their own body, and of the power of focused, clear attention. During this process, the teens often develop a greater sense of self-confidence by discovering the inner resources within, which help them to deal with experiences that they are going through in daily life.
