Helpful Information
New Students, please arrive a bit early (at least 15 minutues) to complete a Student Information Form.
Please inform the teacher of any injuries, health conditions, and/or special needs. Some postures are contraindicated for certain conditions or injuries. Help us to help you.
House Mats are available, however, we recommend purchase of your own mat for sanitary reasons if you attend class regularly.
Please leave your shoes in the cubby in the lobby, yoga is practiced in bare feet (unless you have a condition that requires socks, please discuss with instructor)
Eat and drink very lightly prior to class start time, at least 2 hours from your last meal. If needed, a light snack would be fine, especially if you have a health condition.
If you are new to yoga, any gentle or beginner level classes would be appropriate. Please call (412) 262-5445 if you have questions.
Please turn off your cell phone unless you have specific permission from the teacher for family emergencies, on call, etc.
To receive maximum benefit from your yoga practice, we recommend attending class regularly. Consistency is key, you may even practice at home if you have the time, any amount 10 minutes to an hour.
Pre-registration is required for the Advanced Asana class on the 4th Sunday of each month, please see class description for details.
