This Professional Development Clinic is Part II of Standing Asana (The Art of Adjustments), a series of educational clinics for teachers, for students in a teacher training program, or for students interested in learning adjustments and assists for deepen their own practice..
This workshop is for teachers that would like to improve their ability to guide the student toward clean alignment without forceful adjustments. Alignment is very specific for each individual structure. Through the refinement of your own posture, the ability to understand another individual structure become more apparent.
You will learn body reading, verbal cues and hands on-assists for key standing postures. You will also learn how to identify resistance in receiving an adjustment and/or assist and how to address this resistance to refine alignment. You will learn to adjust the pose from the foundation of the structure and upward.
All participants will receive a certificate for CEU credits for Yoga Alliance.
