With a heart for helping others and a desire to compliment her own healing journey, April discovered the practice of Reiki through Lotus Heart Rising and Reiki Master Cindi Barton. After completing the Level I certification, she felt a deep yearning to explore deeper into this wonderful healing modality and share the gift of Reiki with others.

April completed the Level II certification in the Usui Shiki Ryoho system of Reiki in the spring of 2009. She hopes to continue on to the Advanced and Master levels in the near future. April is a lifelong seeker of natural healing therapies that benefit mind, body, and soul. Having gone through similar experiences, she enjoys working with clients who are living with migraines, anxiety or depression, and those recovering from injury.

April is also a current student of the 200 Hour Teacher Training program through Three Rivers Yoga Institute, graduating in fall of 2010. Her background also includes behavioral therapy, social and community integration, and crisis management for children and young adults with autism and developmental disabilities. April has a deep respect for the Earth and all her creatures, and honors this in her daily life and Reiki and yoga practices.

Judy recently left the corporate world of business, where she functioned in an executive capacity for over 20 years, to devote her time and energy to the healing arts. Judy’s journey in the healing arts has been one of on-going education and practice over the past 13 years. Starting with the practice of Yoga in 1994 under the direction of Robert Barton, Judy was introduced to the energy of the breath as a connection to the self and the earth’s energy. She continues to practice Yoga on a regular basis and credits Yoga with improving her health and life style.

Reiki came into Judy’s life in 2001, making a major transformation in her approach to life. Judy trained under William Rand, President of The International Center for Reiki Training, and has been attuned to all levels of Reiki from Level 1 through the Master Level. She has been teaching Reiki for 4 years. On her continual quest for knowledge and skills in the art of healing energy, Judy has completed the studies and attunements for the Master level in several other healing energy modalities including:

Master, the Golden Triangle Healing System Master, Full Spectrum Healing System Master, Kundalini Reiki Master, Amara Reiki Usui /Tibetan Reiki Master In 2006 she studied Reconnective Healing under Eric Pearl.

Judy is a Certified Massage Therapist, specializing in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy and Chair Massage. She trained at the Career Training Academy, the first accredited massage therapy school in the Pittsburgh region. Judy combines the healing energy of Reiki with the hands-on techniques of massage to provide a uniquely relaxing and therapeutic experience for her clients.
