Three Rivers Yoga Institute, Inc offers three types of Yoga Training Programs. Three Rivers Yoga Institute has been training students and teachers of yoga since 1993.
Through our experience and after much heartfelt meditation, we have redesigned our programs to mentor small groups of students instead of mass training potential teachers that have not yet developed a personal practice. The personal practice is a critical component to becoming a quality teacher. Our Lifesytle Program will guide and support the student in development of a Personal Practice, the 200 Hour Teacher Mentoring Program will build upon the foundation of the personal practice to foster and develop skills to become an effective teacher, the 500 Hour Teacher Mentoring Program will enhance the skills developed through the previous courses.
The prospective teacher will complete our programs with the necessary skills required to teach yoga with confidence and ease drawing upon their own personal practice, and our course, as the foundation. Each student will have ongoing individual meetings (inclusive of discussion and practical application of teachings) with the program facilitators to ensure understanding of coursework, teaching methodology, presentation skills, and adjustments and assists.
We seek students with a passion and dedication to all aspects of yoga; physical, mental and spiritual. If you are interested in applying for our programs, please feel free to call us at (412) 262-5445 or email us Thank you and we look forward to meeting you. Namaste.
